On November 11, the first 1000 mVA / 1000 kV UHV AC transformer in Zhangbei Station of the Zhangbei-Xiong'an 1000 kV UHV AC Transmission and Transformation Project of the State Grid Corporation of China was successfully tested in Baobian Electric, realizing the mass production of 1000 kV UHV transformer in Zhangbei Station of Baobian Electric. The test results show that the performance indicators of the product fully meet the engineering requirements, and the key indicators such as insulation resistance and partial discharge, temperature rise and noise have reached the leading level of similar products in the world.

The product is composed of two products, the main transformer and the voltage regulating transformer, the voltage regulating transformer and the main transformer body are connected through the overhead pipe busbar, forming a complete single-phase self-coupling forced oil circulation air-cooled non-excitation voltage regulating transformer, which has the characteristics of large capacity, low loss and no local overheating.

Baobian Electric won the bid for seven 1000 kV AC transformers in Zhangbei Station of Zhangbei-Xiong'an UHV AC Transmission and Transformation Project. Among them, 4 units were produced in Baoding Plant of Baobian Electric and 3 units were produced at Baohua Electric Qinhuangdao Plant. In order to ensure the smooth production of the products of the project, Baobian Electric has established a project leading group to be fully responsible for the production and manufacturing of the project.

In the production process, all links pay close attention to product quality and process control, scientific scheduling, active cooperation of all departments, high standards and strict requirements of the majority of employees, overcome difficulties, strive for excellence, overcome the difficulties of insufficient material supply, large product volume, complex structure, difficult assembly, etc., to ensure that the first product is qualified in one test.
